From October 2026, Zurich will enter the Australian personal home insurance market while expanding our existing motor footprint through a newly enhanced partnership with Honey Insurance. This is a significant milestone for our business, combining Zurich’s underwriting strength and claims expertise with Honey’s digital-first approach to deliver a faster, smarter and more seamless experience for customers. 

This role sits at the heart of that launch, leading a newly formed team of Claims COE and shaping how we deliver a modern, digital-first experience. 

As a Process Design & Change Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver a seamless and high-quality claims experience for our customers. Working within our Claims Centre of Excellence, you’ll support the design and continuous improvement of Home and Motor claims processes, helping ensure we are ready from day one and set up to scale for the future.

This is a great opportunity to combine process design with change delivery, working closely with stakeholders across claims, technology and operations to simplify complexity and deliver meaningful outcomes. You’ll help bring clarity to the way we work, making it easier for our people to support customers when it matters most.

You will also be responsible for the following:

• Design and document end to end Home and Motor claims processes across key stages of the customer journey
• Develop and maintain process maps, standard operating procedures and knowledge content to support consistent execution
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define requirements, processes and acceptance criteria
• Identify risks, controls and compliance requirements and ensure alignment with regulatory standards
• Support business validation testing and feed insights into process refinements and improvements
• Contribute to change readiness activities including training materials, process walkthroughs and stakeholder support

You are someone who brings a strong customer-first mindset, with the ability to balance empathy and sound judgement. You enjoy working collaboratively, are open to learning, and take pride in making a genuine difference in the moments that matter.

To be successful, you will have the following:

• Experience in home, motor or property claims within general insurance (or similar)
• Proven ability to design and document processes, workflows and standard operating procedures
• Strong skills in process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to translate complex processes into clear, practical and structured documentation
• Understanding of risk, compliance and quality frameworks within financial services or insurance
